Now, finish you cottage cheese. Seriously, though, does anybody even eat that stuff?

My Mom loves it. I eat it very rarely I really like the taste though.

I'd eat it all day everyday for that truck

Last year, we stopped in Frankenmuth MI for a famous Zehnder’s chicken dinner (meh) while on vacation. One of the things served in the multi-course dinner was a plate of cottage cheese.

I picked at it with my fork while commenting, “I haven’t had this stuff since I was a kid. God, it’s so disgusting...why did I like it when I was little?”

Tasted it.
Wiped out my plate of cottage cheese.
Proceeded to clear the other 3 plates of cottage cheese at the table.

tl;dr:  heck, yeah

I think we sell about 40 pots (250g, 300g and 500g) of local, English and Polish Cottage Cheese a day in our store.

So there must be someone that likes it.

Myself, I can’t stand the stuff. Soft or cheese spread is as far as I go.

Every so often I grab a container, take a bite or three and ask myself why I purchased this stuff. It’s not bad for some things (in a baked potato or a ricotta substitute for cheap/quick lasagne-like dish), but it’s not something I crave.

I love cheese, but this stuff is more like a distant relative to that lovely creation . A bowl full is a little better if you salt it, but I’m sure it’s already loaded with sodium and thus any health benefits are shot to hell .

I both know I like cottage cheese but also can't remember the last time I had any. Probably years as weird as that is.

My mom used to serve it on top of peaches or pears. I always liked it. My wife never buys it, so I haven’t had it for many years.

My wife and son eat it. I can’t get past the way it looks.

Well I have a cottage cheese story, I had about ten minutes to eat every morning at USMC OCS, we had PT (running etc.) before we ate to avoid blowing chunks, but I still had to figure out how to eat fast but keep my calories and protein up. I saw the cottage cheese, easy to eat fast and everything I needed, so I threw everything else into a bowl with it and down she went . It doesn’t taste bad.

It’s good stuff, the bigger the curd the better. GTFO with your small curds.

Well, nobody likes small curds.
